Virtual Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Controller Services

A Virtual CFO/Controller does more than your traditional financial management tasks.  In today’s environment, a Virtual CFO/Controller is a strategic business partner.  

  • Strategic Planning. We will work with you and your staff to identify and quantify the important factors that will affect your future growth and success. We will use that information to prepare financial projections and accompanying plan narrative that helps you visualize your company’s future.


  • Financial Analysis and Operational Results Analysis. We will carefully analyze your financial results, looking for trends and information that will assist you in future decision-making. We will also analyze your operations. We would identify key operations indicators, and set-up systems to track those indicators and measure performance on a monthly basis.


  • Improve Bottom Line Profitability. After analyzing your operations, we can look for specific process inefficiencies that may be costing your company money.  We will look for excesses in people or materials or other misallocations of resources. We will set-up systems to assist you in measuring productivity on an on-going basis.


  • Financial Projections. We can take your vision of your company’s future and turn it into a meaningful financial projection. It will also help you plan when you will need to hire more people and add more equipment and/or facilities. Financial projections are a part of the answer for a business owner.

  • Cash Flow Projections. Cash flow projections will assist you in understanding your current cash situation and planning your future cash requirements. Such planning will reduce your stress level and keep your vendors, bankers, and employees happy.  In addition, it will tell you if you should expect to have excess cash or if you will be needing cash. If you need cash to grow, the projections will show your banking institution when they can expect to get their money back.


  • Financial Reporting.  We will perform month-end close (e.g., review revenue, expense, liability, assets, and equity accounts; prepare financial statements; management review; close the accounting system for the month).

  • Communications.  We will   form a good working relationship with external auditors, banking officials, DCAA, DOL's Cost Negotiator, etc.

  • Annual Audit/Review.  We will manage your annual audit/review and corporate income tax process with your outside accounting firm.
